AEO is an international supply chain status awarded by Customs, following a detailed audit process, that is currently widely considered essential for post Brexit European trade. The World Customs Organisation introduced AEO to secure and improve efficiencies in international trade and the benefits of approval include better access to simplified customs procedures and reduced documentation.
