French Customs Guide For No Deal

With the increasing chances of a no deal Brexit, customs formalities and controls at the border between France and the UK could well be reinstated.

French customs have issued guidance for UK businesses that move goods between the UK and France (and beyond), which outlines how to prepare for new customs procedures in the event of no deal.

In line with any export or import through the UK, any exchange of goods between France and the UK will be subjected to 2 customs declarations, one to British Customs and one to French Customs.
